Good King Sombra

This particular pose is intended to show Sombra running in to save the day. (Or save the night? Things are different in the reflected world.) Thanks to Fragnostic for feedback while I was creating this!

I enjoyed the Reflections comic arc, but I felt it ended too abruptly. It had a lot of world-building and background / flashbacks and did so in a cohesive and believable manner. There was also a lot of background humour. Honestly, it's worth getting the comic just to see evil princesses. And on the last few pages, you can see the princesses in some other forms...

Although I enjoyed the Reflection arc, it also left me feeling rather sad. That Celestia had fallen in love was a real heartwarming moment. It showed her to be more normal, even as though it's implied love is forbidden for her. But to be reunited with her love and then torn apart again seemed unnecessarily cruel. My belief is that the cleansed parallel Celestia and Luna found a way to distribute the dark magic to a large number of ponies, in a dosage too small to cause harm. After freeing Sombra, both worlds will find a way to restore the link so the lovers can be together again.
