aka Nightmare Moon and Princess Luna Flying Together
And thus Nightmare Night was born. It's up to you to decide whether they're making mischief, taking a joyflight together or something else entirely.
This was a gift/request/suggestion/something? for/from NightmareMoonS. He wanted an image with a determined/happy Luna pointing at something. He also said standing, but I think flying is a bit cooler. I really like the way it turned out. I hope you like it too!
The Nightmare Moon and Princess Luna characters and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic are the property of Lauren Faust and/or Hasbro and/or others. Thanks to Skylark-Torch for feedback while I was creating this image.
- As Luna is one my top favorite ponies, I almost immediately loved this piece very much ^^
- The thing that I truly admire the most about this piece is the originality. I am usually bombarded with emo pictures of Luna brooding over "her being a monster" and blah blah blah when she was Nightmare Moon, but here is very lighthearted. I like how they are both flying together as if they accept each other, they are the same pony and therefore balance each other out which is what I get when I see the picture. I it like that~
- From my inbox the pic looked amazing and while it still does, when I zoomed up to the piece for full view, the outlines seemed just a tad too pixel for me, like the outlines looked a bit fuzzy with less of that smooth outline most vectors have, but that's just my opinion
- Beside those 2 things, this is a fairly nice picture, and I cannot wait to see more like these~ Great work, Sigma!
