Nightmare Moon Defeats Princess Luna

"You are stronger than you think you are, Luna Starlight. You have fought well. But it is time to end this. Give up."
"Why are you doing this to me, Nightmare? I thought you were my friend..."
"Friend? No, I was never your friend. You don't have any friends." Nightmare laughed cruelly. "Your loneliness and jealousy made you an easy target for my influence. Once I take control of you, I'll use your lunar powers to stop that despised sun from rising."
"Celestia won't let you do that. She'll stop you."
"That pathetic sun princess will fall as you did. Besides, Luna, why are you sad? Why do you resist? After all, you're going to get what you always wanted: ponies will finally see your night."

This image is the inevitable end to Nightmare and Luna's Showdown.
Luna's facial expression is based off the one I usually use for epic sadness. When I drew it in, it also had the side-effect of showing what appears to be a great deal of fear. The result is almost too effective.
